Bay Area people (I know at least a few of you are on here), The Castro (probably the grandest of the grand old theaters in The Bay Area) is showing a double-feature of A VIEW TO A KILL and ON HER MAJESTY'S SECRET SERVICE this Sunday. I'll drive up from San Jose and at least catch OHMSS at 6 pm, being it is one of only three of the EON Bonds that I never saw on the big screen (the others being FROM RUSSIA WITH LOVE and TOMORROW NEVER DIES). Of course, unlike the other 20 entires, I won't be seeing it on the heels of it's initial release (or, in the cases of DR. NO, GOLDFINGER and THUNDERBALL, a rerelease within a couple of years of the initial premiere), but it's the best I can hope for at this point. The Castro generally gets nice prints. Let me know if anyone wants to hook-up for the show! I don't mind catching both films.
